Try the wheel - private wheelthrowing class for 2 people

Duration: 2,5 hours

This class is perfect for anyone eager to experience working on the potter’s wheel for the first time. Over 2.5 hours, you’ll be introduced to the essential techniques of wheel throwing, we’ll guide you through preparing your clay, finding balance on the wheel and shaping simple vessels. We invite you to explore the process with curiosity, enjoying the feel of the clay.

After the class, we will take care of the next steps: bisque firing, glazing, and the final firing. Each person will get to choose 2-3 pieces that will be glazed by us in the glaze of your choice. Your pieces will be ready to pick up in about 4–6 weeks.

Classes are conducted in English.

All materials, tools and aprons are provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and keeping your fingernails short. By booking this class, you confirm that you have private liability insurance (Privathaftpflichtversicherung).
