Try the wheel - wheelthrowing class for beginners

Duration: 2,5 hours

(Max. 6 people per group class).

This class is perfect for anyone eager to experience working on the potter’s wheel for the first time. Over 2.5 hours, you’ll be introduced to the essential techniques of wheel throwing, we’ll guide you through preparing your clay, finding balance on the wheel and shaping simple vessels. We invite you to explore the process with curiosity, enjoying the feel of the clay.

After the class, we will take care of the next steps: bisque firing, glazing, and the final firing. You will get to choose 2-3 pieces that will be glazed by us in the glaze of your choice. Your pieces will be ready to pick up in about 4-6 weeks.

Classes are conducted in English.

All materials, tools and aprons are provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and keeping your fingernails short. By booking this class, you confirm that you have private liability insurance (Privathaftpflichtversicherung).

Cancelation policy:

You can cancel 14 days before the class starts for a 100% refund. Any cancellations later than 14 days before the class can’t be refunded. You are welcome to pass your ticket to a friend if you can't attend a class, in such case please contact us with that person's name.
